Gloomie

A fixture of the Sydney indie scene for the last few years as band member of Boys N Love and front-woman of Goodside, Casey Logemann embarks on her new solo project, Gloomie. Combining stunning, breathy vocals with bright guitar riffs and dazzling melodic hooks, Gloomie delivers a captivating dream pop experience in her debut EP ‘Storm Chaser’. Casey cemented herself in the local Sydney scene opening for the likes of Julia Jacklin fronted Phantastic Ferniture, The Buoys and Big White. Goodside’s debut track ‘I’ve Been Feeling Something Lately’ received airtime on Triple J Unearthed, Home & Hosed and the band featured as Independent Artist of the Week on FBi Radio.

They received stellar reviews from Happy Mag, Aupium and Life Without Andy, who said "If the rest of the tunes on their EP are anywhere near as strong as this, we reckon it will be up there with the best releases of 2019." Praising the sweetness of the tracks sound, Joe Kahn (currently at Triple J) from FBi’s podcast ‘Under the Bridge’ commended Casey’s skilled songwriting. “There’s obviously a really strong tenacity in the songwriter here to create something really addictive”.
